Tape 1 - Talks with Cathedral Staff
The ‘Pupil’s Index and Table of Tape Recordings’ (item 9) usefully lists all the questions asked during the interviews recorded on Tape One, and also indicates who was asking the questions.
Those being interviewed are not stated by name, but only by their office, but most are known.
The identities of the children asking the questions or why they were chosen are unknown, other than their first names, which the narrator uses in the recordings (Track 1 – Sally, Jonathan; Track 2 – Colin (? – sounds like Kahn), Mark; Track 3 – Sally, Jonathan; Track 4 – Colin (?) and others unnamed). The adult’s voice with the children and in the final excerpt is presumably John Figg. |
